What did you do last night?

I had dinner at my parent’s house.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?

Cold cereal or toast and juice

How many hours a night do you sleep?

Sleep?  That’s a hard question.  It depends on how much time I spend tossing and turning.  I’m usually in bed for about 7 hours.

What is your favorite hour of the day/night and why is it your favorite?

During the weekday my favorite hour is 5pm.  On the weekends it’s the early morning hour when everything is still quiet.

Where do you live now?

In Sacramento, Ca.

Why did you move there?

I moved up here with my family when my Dad got transferred from Bakersfield.

Do you like living there? Explain.

Yes, most of the time.  It usually cools down at night.

What did you do in the years right after high school?

I went to BC and worked for a couple of years at the Kern County Gun Club.  The pay was lousy but it was probably one of the best jobs I’ve had.

Tell us about your family? Kids? Spouses? Lovers? Partners? Divorces?

No kids, no spouses, no divorces.

Do you have a job outside of your home?

Only until I win the lottery (oh wait-I don’t play the lottery).

Do you like your job?

Sometimes!  Of course I always like my job on payday.

Is it the job you thought you would have when you were back in High School and you contemplated the future?

It’s at least similar to what I was interested in.

If you could have any job in the world what would it be?

Good question.  I think I ask myself that about 10 times a day.  I think I’d like to go study crocodiles in India.

What was your happiest day last year?

You expect anyone to remember what they did last year?  Sometimes I can’t even remember what I did last week.  I guess I’m getting old.

What is your biggest regret from the last 20 years?

Not really doing all the things I wanted to do.

Do you miss high school? What things do you miss about it?

No.  Obviously there were some things I enjoyed but I don’t really miss it enough to want to do it over again.

What is one of your favorite memories from high school?

Winning the spirit stick at the Home Coming Rallies 4 years in a row.

What is one of your worst memories from high school?

Well, my memories are either not that bad, or they’re so bad that I’ve repressed them.

Who were your best friends in high school?

I didn’t hang out with any one in particular.

Have you kept in touch with them?

No.

How is your life different than the life you thought you would have after high school?

I’m sure I imagined that I would be wealthy.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Well, those that stand out in my mind are Mrs. Zisk, Mr. Slagle and Mr. Lapp

What was the biggest life lesson you learned in high school?

Try not to let what others think of you dictate what you do.

Who was your favorite pop music band in high school?

I liked pretty much anything that had a good beat.  I did listen a lot to Pet Shop Boys, Tears for Fears and some others.

Why do you want to attend a high school reunion?

I have no idea.

Why do you NOT want to attend a high school reunion?

Good question.

Are you nervous about attending your high school reunion? Explain.

Mmmmm……

Do you like answering these questions?

Yes.  It’s reminiscent of filling out the insurance forms on a doctor’s visit.

Do you have any tattoos? What are they?

I’m not really into being poked by needles.  I’m good at using crayola markers but unfortunately my drawings never last very long.

What is your favorite food?

Spicy Mexican food.

Are your parents still alive? How are they doing?

Yes.  They are doing well.  They are very busy in their lives.

Are you happy with the way you look these days? Please explain.

No.  I’d like to be 20 yrs younger and 20 lbs lighter.  (But I guess most of us probably feel that way.)

If you won the lottery what would you do with the money?

Help my family out, quit my job, travel, go study crocodiles in India.

Are you religious? Spiritual? Agnostic? Is there a God?

Yes I’m religious.  And yes I do believe God exists.

What do you watch on TV?

I do like Gilmore Girls, but I’m kind of on a sabbatical from TV at the moment.

What are your all-time favorite movies?

I like a good romance, but I love action adventure movies and a good mystery/suspense.  Or maybe my favorite movies are those with giant animals going awry. Hmmm…

In what ways have you changed the most from high school?

I like to joke around a lot more.

In what ways are you the same from high school?

I’m still pretty quiet around people I don’t know very well.

Tell us about three of your happiest experiences since leaving high school.

Paying off my first car loan.

Spending a year in ST. Croix as a Nanny.  The geography was fabulous.  We lived right on the beach and had a swimming pool as well.  I got to kayak in the ocean and often watched the Navy conduct war games right outside our back door.

Getting a free trip in a bi-plane.

I’ve had lots of other happy experiences, but those are the only three I can think of right now.

What do you like most about yourself?

I’m pretty easy going.  I have a sense of humor (or at least I think I do) and I love to joke around.

What would you most like to change?

I would love to be able to yell at people sometimes.

Do you talk on your cellphone while driving?

Well, not unless I try and borrow one from the driver in the car next to me.  Consider me as living in the dark ages.  I don’t even own a cell phone.

Tell us something that very few people know about you.

I’m incredibly fascinated with crocodiles and alligators.  I’m not sure why.

What would you like to happen at the reunion? What would leave you satisfied? What do you NOT want to happen at the reunion?

That everyone has a good time and that no one walks away wondering why they wasted their time going to a class reunion.

Did you enjoy answering these questions?

It was the most entertaining thing I’ve done so far today.
